HI Summit- The Deep End of Primary Care
Health Inequalities Summit – 9th November 2022 @ 12:00pm to 2:00pm
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who attended our Health Inequalities Summit: The Deep End of Primary Care. We had over 420 participants join us on the day!
We were inundated with questions during the event and we apologise that we were unable to answer them all in real time, however, as promised we have collated all of the questions from the day and our panel have responded here Questions & Answers
We had a number of presentations throughout the Summit, which covered topics such as resource allocation, the Deep End perspective and the role of the network in addressing the inverse care law, as well as a number of examples from guest speakers regarding projects they have implemented locally, where they used innovative approaches to take into account socio-economic factors and health inequalities in primary care. A copy of the master slide deck, including all of these presentations and the full recording of the Summit can be found via this link Hi Summit – Full Deck or you can watch it here
We would have liked to showcase more examples of how workstreams/areas have specifically focused on inequalities in their projects, but unfortunately we didn’t have the time. The additional presentations that were not on shown during the Summit can be found here:
- Alcohol IBA
- The role of Year of Care PCSP in tackling health inequalities
- Better Health at Work Award Primary Care support
Throughout the Summit we asked the participants questions and gathered feedback on the event using Slido, here is a copy of what they said Questions & Feedback.
We really appreciate your continued interest and support in promoting the work of our Deep End network.
